I get it. As a mother of 6, I know how hard it is to deal with procrastination, anxiety, and perfectionism. And that’s with just ONE of my college-bound seniors 😮💨.
On my maiden college voyage, even the sheer number of school choices was overwhelming. Plus, there were college visits, crafting the personal statement, managing dozens of supplemental essays, and looming deadlines. I tried to stay afloat by guiding my senior, keeping up at work, AND managing the rest of my crew.
It was too much. I was drowning.
I started looking for a lifeline of professional help and was serendipitously hired by a nationally renowned College Planner.
Over a decade later, I’m captaining my own ship. I’ve partnered with 200+ families and helped them smoothly sail through over 3,000 essays. Does your junior or senior need or want ongoing guidance and attention?
Let me help them identify colleges that should be on their tailored lineup, craft their Activities List (something every DIY student does wrong — wasting valuable application “real estate”), and complete all of their Supplemental Essays (on average, students have between 13 - 41 essays to write and edit, depending on their major). I’ll also support them to strategically write all their Honors College essays too! I help keep your teen organized through ongoing private coaching via Zoom (or in person) throughout the application season and until the final college choice is made.

Essay Writing & Editing Weekend Workshop
Your senior will meet with me and a small group of other seniors. They’ll focus deeply on their Personal Statement, the “queen bee” essay for the Common App. I’ll guide them to discover their top topic, write two versions of their essay, break free from boring writing, discover how to strongly start and end the essay, and get everything polished & sealed in 6 easy steps.
Your teen gets to rent my brain and be supercharged by my energy for a full 8 hours… and I get to share 12 years of essay-coaching expertise.
Plus, I'll work with your student for 2 hours in a 1-on-1 session to complete and submit their Common App activities list, one of the most important parts of the essay which students mistakenly treat as a "job description" list (which it isn't).
